Each March, Paraboot showcases the work of young women renowned for their artistic expertise.
This season, the brand is collaborating with Clémence Cahu to reinvent the Ibéris sandal.
As a graduate of the Atelier Chardon Savard fashion school, the talented stylist Clémence Cahu has been making her mark in the fashion industry for over ten years. Working with well-known magazines, luxury brands and advertising agencies, she also made her name as a consultant with Nelly Rody and through her TV collaborations with iconic channels such as Canal+ and France Télévision.
Alongside this, Clémence Cahu also launched her own CAHU brand – a digital design and creative content platform – as well as creating a line of bags and small leather goods inspired by her family history. Her creations included her "Le Pratique" bag which won over fashionistas with its highly practical and versatile design.
The recent collaboration between Clémence Cahu and Paraboot continues in this same innovative vein. With creativity running through the very core of both brands, their fusion led to the birth of the "Santorin" sandal, a stylish new version of the historical Ibéris model reworked in CAHU's distinctive style.
The dual-material upper on the sandal combines smooth leather with Cahu's signature textured PVC, demonstrating outstanding attention to detail. With no less than 12 stitches applied by hand, each strap is securely assembled to highlight the craftsman expertise behind this collaboration. In keeping with the Cahu spirit, the hand-dyed edges add a traditional feel to the piece.
As the hallmark of this exclusive collaboration, the electric orange leather lining adds a bright touch to this sandal. With its refined beadwork that creates a fine cord effect, the welt is mounted on a sporty wedge sole that gives the sandal a distinctive look and a unique character. The adjustable ankle fastening guarantees the perfect fit, whilst the supple padded insole provides maximum comfort throughout the day.
This "Paraboot X CAHU" collaboration follows in the footsteps of our previous iconic collaborations, combining Paraboot's exceptional historical expertise with Clémence Cahu's avant-garde creativity.
